You’re Not Doing Everything Right on Keto If You’re Not Losing Weight – Healthy Ketogenic Diet

Are you feeling like you are doing everything right on keto but you still aren’t losing weight? Why would that be happening? Often it is because we have done some research and have some understanding of what we are trying to accomplish but we do not have a deeper understanding of what our body is actually doing.

Woo, wow, Violet, … What are you trying to imply.

Don’t be hurt or insulted by that first paragraph. All I’m trying to say is that if you have just begun to do a new way of eating, you will only have a small amount of personal experience with how your body is reacting. Due to that, you are still being reactive rather than proactive in the foods you choose and the goals you have.

Doing something right everytime is a tall order to start with, I know that. What are the chances that everyday, you are actually eating your keto diet correctly while you are in the weight loss phase? Again, this is new behavior. Until you are fully fat adapted, experiencing the benefits, and certain about the sustainability, you are likely still wondering if it will work! And even when it does, you still won’t do it perfectly.

Consider that most of us have been brushing our teeth since we’ve been toddlers and yet, I’m certain that most of us do not brush correctly every time. Do you actually brush for 2 minutes every time? Do you floss every time? Do you massage your gums every time? Do you brush your tongue and cheeks every time?

But many of us do brush good enough that we have not had a cavity in years! So what does that mean? We aren’t going to be perfect because perfect does not exist. But we can do our very best each time to ensure our best chance at building a strong healthy body and achieving the weight loss we want to achieve.

Health and happiness take work. Make working on it part of your daily routine.
