The Harsh Truth About Cheat Days on Keto – Healthy Ketogenic Diet

We need to address the harsh truth about cheat days on keto. For some reason, people have been mislead into believing that if you do not see an immediate physical repercussion to eating poorly, it is harmless.

Have we not learned, over the past few years, that insulin resistance is in the making upward of 10 years before our blood sugar has any negative signs? Doesn’t that automatically mean that we can be damaging our body with food, even if we look fine in the moment.

It is so important to keep in mind that our heatlh is so much more precious than eating a fun food. When we cannot walk or run the way we used to, when getting out of a chair is difficult, when we cannot play with our children or grand children, we will regret not taking care of our health.

Why would we wait until there is a problem to fix something that we can address right now? With the resources that you have in front of your right now, the grocery store, you can make significant change in your future. Are you going to invest in your body now buy purchasing healthy food? Or invest in pain management later by purchasing medication?

We all have our decisions to make. Health and happiness take work. Make working on it part of your daily routine.
