If you want to know how to lose weight naturally and permently, you will want to know if you should use carb counting vs calorie counting. Both ideas can lead to weight loss but only carb counting leads to permanent weight loss.

There are many videos talking about calorie deficits being essential to weight loss and yet many people in the keto community eat a normal about of energy and maintain their weight.

The reason that this is possible is because calories are not a metric that the body understands. But our body does react to excessive carbohydrates. And the way the body reacts to excessive carbohydrates is key to understanding why weight loss is not dependent on calorie count.
