We Do What We’ve Been Taught To Do
We all want to present well and get along with others. But what happens if we were never taught how? What happens to people in the world who just never received the tools to interact well with other people? That sound terrible! Well imagine how it feels when you need to interact with someone who has not learned these skills on a regular basis. And what happens if the person we are talking about is actually you? Good news, if it is you, you can do something about it!
In order to have healthy relationships, you need to be aware of why you do what you do. Your actions are based on your history. If the examples in your life were unhappy, argumentative, or rejecting relationships, you will replicate those negative in your own relationships. Understanding the relationship examples that existed in your history will help you improve your actions in your current relationships.
